About REMAX Momentum

Founded in 2009 and officially opening the doors to the Brighton office back in February of 2010, ReMax Momentum did so humbly with only five agents – but also with big aspirations. Broker/Owner Erica Hageman, having already successfully spent nearly a decade in the real estate industry, along with her fiscally-minded business partner and husband Troy Hageman, together had a vision of a somewhat non-traditional office model. The premise of which would strive to keep monthly costs at a minimum for its agents while consciously focusing on helping them grow their business. They also visualized a diverse group of agents, recruiting based primarily the on less tangible characteristics as opposed to the conventional ones. As Troy puts it, the idea was to “fill the office with truly good people, experienced in real estate or otherwise, and use the collective resources and experiences we’ve accumulated over our professional careers to build on or add to the individual qualities agents already bring to the office.”

The result? Today, ReMax Momentum is approaching 70 agents, opened a second location at the Orchard Shopping Center in Westminster and a third one in Stapleton. With agents experience ranging from newly licensed to 30+ year veterans and a service area from Castle Rock to Ft. Collins, they’re very proud of their dynamic group. They have agents that specialize in residential and commercial properties, foreclosures, short sales and property management. On any given day at the office, agents are regularly comparing ideas, sharing their successes and challenges regarding marketing efforts and encouraging each others’ success. What started out as a way to have ultimate control of their livelihoods has turned into an unexpected passion for the Hagemans. “It’s not so much about my personal business anymore,” Erica says. “I just want to be a reliable resource for the agents and provide regular trainings and classes to support their business. Real estate can be tricky. Watching an agent take an idea or approach, make it their own and turn it into a way to provide for them and their family is reward enough.”
