Agent Spotlight: Christa Madrid

agent-picChrista Madrid will celebrate her second anniversary with RE/MAX Momentum this December, but has had an interest in real estate for quite some time. After spending many years in the Telecommunications industry, she felt the professional ceiling creeping closer and closer as time progressed and knew change was imminent. She went back to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in business management thinking it would help raise the ceiling and open the door to new opportunities, but things didn’t go according to plan. It all worked out for the best, however, and with some inspiration from a friend already in the real estate industry, Christa boldly jumped ship, changed careers and hasn’t looked back.

She immediately got to work networking, assembling effective marketing strategies that fit her personal strengths and absorbing as much information as possible through ongoing classes and trainings. That, in combination with her client dedication and attention to detail, earned her RE/MAX Momentum’s Rookie of the Year award in 2015. Her passion for skillfully guiding her clients, not only through a real estate transaction, but through the transition into the next phase of their lives, inevitably forges friendships that don’t end at the closing table. Christa also participates on the board of RE/MAX Momentum’s non-profit organization, Flutterby. She volunteers her time and donates in a variety of ways, helping generate funds for several charities and other causes important to the organization.

When not wearing her Realtor® hat, she loves spending time with family. Between her and her husband, they have five children and three grandchildren. She was born and raised in Colorado and enjoys the aura of peace that emanates throughout its four seasons. She has a love/hate relationship with running, taking part in numerous marathons and events like the Tough Mudder obstacle races. Christa and her husband are quite fond of Las Vegas and its effervescence, sometimes booking trips on a moment’s notice, but she certainly doesn’t mind slowing things down by curling up with a good book or sitting down to write poetry. Christa Madrid may just be in the infancy of her real estate career, but it undoubtedly figures to be a long and successful one!
