Regional Bus Facility (LRT to DUS Building)
In the interior of the bus facility, crews are continuing to work on installing the electrical/mechanical rough-ins, fire protection and lighting. Work on the installation of insulation, drywall, and the metal panels that are the final finishes in the pedestrian concourse is in progress as is the installation of the store front glass that separates the pedestrian concourse from the bus loading area. Other finish work, like millwork, terrazzo tile for the floor and glass tiles on the walls is also taking place. In addition, crews are working on the stairs, escalators, and elevators from the CRT platforms to the underground bus facility.


Commuter Rail (CRT) and Train Hall
With the Train Hall canopy structure complete, work on touch-up painting, installation of gutters and technology wiring is in progress. The pedestrian bridge connecting the Wynkoop Plaza to Wewatta St. at the north end of the canopy has been placed and crews will continue to work on the stairs and elevators providing access from the pedestrian bridge to the platforms. The PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fabric (similar to the roof at DIA) installation is complete at the north end of the Historic Building and crews will continue to work around the south end.



CRT platforms extensions and the associated wall erection are in progress. This work includes grading, installing conduit, storm drains, backfill and concrete slabs.

Crews are connecting the tracks they have been installing from 23rd Street south to the track installed under the Train Hall canopy on top of the bus box.
Pavilions and Plaza
Work on the Pavilions at Chestnut and Wewatta is in progress. In the Wewatta Plaza, tree trenches, granite seat wall foundations and light fixtures are being installed. Additionally, planting of trees, flowers and shrubs is continuing. Granite paver installation is underway in the Wynkoop Plaza.

Overall Project Progress Update
The DUS project continued to pump millions of dollars into the local economy – totaling $460 million through May 31. The project is 85% complete overall. The light rail station is 99.5% complete; bus facility 90% complete; streets and plazas 81% complete; and commuter rail station 73% complete.
